NBA Playoff

Hi guys, It’s blog time here and The NBA is packed with really exciting stuff. The Conference finals have started and so far the pacers had won their first match which is pretty disappointing… but anyways if I had to describe the match I would say it was unexpected. I expected the Heat to be more dominant on the court having some steals and much more points in transition. I completely forgot what the Pacers were capable of and how good they were in the defensive floor. They played good on-ball defense and stopped a Miami heat that has been on fire lately. I think Miami has to be much more dominant and I think they were expecting a much more inconsistent team. The centers game is not going to work against these Pacers and their perimeter shooting is not bad at all so I think the only thing Miami can do is play smart basketball, as in taking care of the ball getting those boars… and changing things around during the game. Another thing I wanted to discuss with you is the OKC, these team beat the Clippers and the best point guard in the game, all because of Durant, that guy knows how to take care of business and even though there is not a great team chemistry he can bring the whole team to a new level, scoring 36 points. The problem was that the Clippers did not look for many fast breaks and Clippers don’t know how to play at a slow pace, maybe a quick pick or isolation but not a 20 sec possession. But The OKC can play in transition with guys like Russell, or play it slow and give it to KD for the shot. As I said before KD is a very difficult player to guard because he is no normal he is a great scorer, tall, good handles, and a killer fade away, so that covers some of the greatest aspects of all the positions. Extremely difficult to guard. Finally what I expect of the OCK vs Spurs is a tough match for both teams, spurs have great players but they have to step it up and get the work done players like Leonard, in this case I support OKC and I think they have to take advantage of their athleticism. OKC has much younger players and if they make the spurs run up and down it could be deadly, also could create easy mismatches like parker on Durant or Perkins on Leonard although I think perkings is an absolute retard and has nothing to do against Diaw or Duncan. In defense, well OCK is missing their main defensive player due to injuries so I would say that forcing tough layups instead of going for the block would be a good option and also double teaming the Forwards. It all depends on the way the match is played and the Spurs have a greater chance to win as their players are more experienced but definitely not more skillful.

Hello guys and the playoffs are now at their very best. I am sure most of you are really thrilled about how they are going and the players.

But first for all the people who did not know Durant is new MVP of the NBA, in my opinion he does disserve the award but his game style is not as exciting as some other players like Westbrook or griffin, who really put on a show on the court and that is what he is lacking, EXPLOSIVENES. But he really stepped it up and had a better scoring record than the God Jordan there on the court.

His stats:

32 points per game.

7.4 rebound per game.

But lets get into real serious matter here, the playoffs.

The OKC are now winning the Clippers 3-2 and thats not good for a Clippers fan like me. It would be a shame that Durant did not get to the finals but I definitely want to see some Lob City basketball in the NBA finals. If the Thunder win todays match the Clippers would be gone. It is important to take n account how tough the previous loss was for the Clippers. Rally all depends on the coaches as both teams have potential miss matched which can really damage the other team. If I was Doc Rivers I would go and use Paul and Blake as the very sole of the team using the pick and role, with not a very tight on ball defense and crashing the offensive glasses, DeAndre Jordan in the post could be a second option as I have always seen Perkins as very weak player not able to defend Godzilla. Dealing with the Durant issue I would recommend having a fluent rotating system of substitutions and giving it all closing shots, always with a hand on his face. Looking at the benches both teams are pretty tied and with the bench players the floppy plays could actually work for my Clippers. There is not much I want to say on this we will see how the game goes on Thursday. If you guys see the match tell me what did you see, how they played all the little stuff Bye!!!
